FYI: Looks like this is another one of those Topps Products that got delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the No Purchase Necessary postmark date has expired already. Bummer!

Technically I don’t think it can LEGALLY be released with an expired NPN. NPN are more of a legal requirement to avoid a lottery/ game of chance label being added to the product. I’m not a lawyer but theses NPN aren’t “goodwill” gestures – they are a necessary “evil” to card companies.
I was going to say the same, Willsee. I’m sending anyway. I don’t think Topps can legally expire the entries before the product releases. I also don’t think they would. If I’m wrong, I’m out a stamp.
I agree that having the NPN is probably a necessary “evil”. My gripe with Panini NPN info is that they don’t put the NPN info on the box and 99% of the time on the packs. How are you suppose to submit your NPN info unless you purchase the product and open them to see the packs???
IMO, NPN information should always be on the outside of the box. At least Topps does this majority of the time, but I don’t think Topps has given out NPN cards. I wonder if anyone has received anything from Topps.
Oh well… I will continue to add to this site for all you trading card collectors 🙂
Got 3 or 4 cards over the past 2 years from Topps. Low-level inserts, nothing with SN, relic, or auto. Nothing with a book-value over a couple of bucks. Was it worth my stamp? Honestly… no, if I had to pay for the stamp. I inherited some postage from a family member so essentially out few pennies for the envelope, ink from a pen, a note card, and (most costly) my time.
Now I’m still doing it because pack hoarders/ flippers have made it impossible to buy stuff @ retail prices… and even AT retail prices much of Topps baseball has been filled with fluff. Can’t wait for market implosion and all these “investment guys” are stuck holding the bag… ala late 80s early 90s. 🙂
